It’s probably no surprise when I say that I’ve always had a deep love for animals. They’ve been a constant source of joy and comfort in my life, and if I’m being completely honest, I feel more at peace around animals than I do around people.

Like many others, I sometimes struggle with confidence, feeling out of place in social settings and often overthink everything I say or do. But with animals, these worries disappear. There’s no judgement, no fear of saying the wrong thing and no questioning whether you are good enough - with them, I can simply be myself!

Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of owning a wide variety of pets - from hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits & gerbils, to fish, cats, horses and of course, dogs.

Now, the greatest joy in my life is my rescue dog, Odie. He’s brought joy into my life from day one and he’s the reason why I even started The Pooch Pal. He comes to work with me and joins as many group walks as he can. Our weekends are mostly spent going to dog events, horse shows or hiking over the beautiful Welsh mountains.

To now be able to put all of my energy into The Pooch Pal, something I love so much and to spend my days surrounded by animals, it’s truly a dream come true and there’s nothing else I’d rather be doing.
